In 1955, most children with CF didn't live to attend elementary school. Today, thanks to Foundation-supported research, the median survival age is 53. But for Houston's 300+ CF patients, statistics fade behind personal victories: a first marathon finished, a college degree earned, a child born to a parent with CF. These milestones are why we persist - until "65 Roses" isn't just a child's mispronunciation, but a manageable condition.
